Last summer I got this exact same exhaust and the header and it came to $400 exactly. It sounds just like this too! Mine is also rejetted, Uni airfilter and Renthal bars with Kenda Carlsbad tires. I got a brand new DID 420 chain from my buddy so once I have the money for sprockets, I'll buy some. She goes pretty good now.. I cant wait to get the 420 sprockets : D

i don't know what you should jet it to but if you put a new exhaust on any bike you need to jet it because if you don't it won't get enough fuel and it will mess up the engine

exactly. this is a TRAIL bike meant for riding in TRAILS. wow! and i wouldn't want a two stroke because they have less low end power for riding in TRAILS. yes, two strokes are quick and nimble but very loud. four strokes are tough and quieter for riding in TRAILS so the cops don't come. and post a vid of your bike(s) too!

Also add fuel additive "sea foam" for first fulltank ,it will cut alot of crud and buildup in carb and stabilize fuel,it will smoke a bit but this is normal and will go away .most auto parts stores carry it (ask for it though cause sometimes its in the back)about $8 a can

ELITE: first, is the '06 carburated or fuel injection?If it is Carbed,i would remove air filter cover and filter then shoot some starting fluid in there,that should fire the ATV right up,if you can keep it running for 3-4mins ,shut it off then restart you should then be fine . sometimes stall air and old gas build up and make it hard to start after winter storage this is why this happens . put back together airfilter and ride high revs for 10mins or so and you should be fine .

I have a 2 wheel drive 99 fourtrax300 and i have ridden ALOT of atv's but i would'nt trade that 300 for the world . simpicity+reliablity on of the best quads on the planet!My wife has a 2000 recon and that thing is a blast to ride and ez to lift out of the sticky shit and very stable.
