i was diagnosed at 3. it has been a struggle but i didnt really notice it as a problem until i started high school. trying to balance treatments, friends, school, and other stuff go very complicated. and because i chose other stuff over treatments sometimes my numbers are in the high 20's. now im realizing how important it is.

i was diagnosed at 3 months...i had problems from day 1...the doctors where i lived/ and still live ddnt believe my mom when she told them, hey somethongs wrong she eats every hour of every day and she has gained one pound...she finally went somewhere an hour from where i live, and immediatley did a sweat test to see if i had it and obviously i did..i am now 17 and my lung funtion is at 90% and im so grateful to be alive considering all ive been through,,,i hope and wish and pray for a cure soon

I'm 20 and was born with CF. Then diagnosed at the age of 13 with the Diabetes that goes with it. I take insulin shots, breathing treatments, and several other medications everyday. When I go out places, I cough and use tissues all the time. Some people give strange looks or may try to stay away. They don't understand what CF is and what it forces us to go through. you can debate all you want about how good the arrow was but one face remains that by canceling the arrow the canadian government distroyed AVRO a avation giant, they had plans to build a passenger jet similer to the DC-8 years before the DC-8 came out, makes you wonder where those engineers went :), i have no doubt if this plane was not canceld or was never proposed for AVRO to build. AVRO would be around today competing with boeing and airbus for passenger jets.

Don't get so worked up about it i can tell you haven't finished high school yet but dude chill. Nuclear is safe because canada has qualified personal to work on it, we don't live in Russia. Europe is more green because they have less land so they see the effects of man which makes them more efficient.

@raynus1 canada has more then enough clean power resources, it would just be more expensive to find them all and bring the power making equipment to the sites... its all about cost, and burning dirty coal is the cheepest way to make power, even if it does fuck up the earth

It is a desert environment with little cloud coverage, and happens to have the world's second-largest river running directly through it. Canada and much of the USA lie in a geographic area that demands large amounts of energy consumption. It gets cold in N. America...and dark for much of the winter.
