I wouldn't want to live in Las Vegas. Ofcourse it's one of the most fun cities in the world, but like everything else, I would not want to live there because eventually you would get tired of it. It wouldn't be the same and exciting experience as visiting on vacation. Not to mention I hear it's very expensive.

Circus Circus still around, but for how much longer.. (The recession is actually keeping it alive longer. Hilton and Unfinished building right next door, but it's on the End of the Strip with nothing exciting. The took Wet N Wild so the Sahara is still across the street, but City Center and Mirage, and Mandalay Bay are way at the South End.. you can still walk to the Riviera but that's on it's way out too..) W/o the recession, they would be parking lots right now...

Haha, pretty accurate list, but in my book, it goes sorta like: 1- Caesars Palace or MGM Grand (I still have no idea, I got the celebrity spa room--the huge bath has wall mirrors and JETS.-- at the MGM, and a really sexy deluxe room with a beautiful view, creme brulee from the buffet at Caesars... help?) 2-The Venetian 3-Bellagio (really great lobby decorations, I love the flowers. plus, the food is delicious.) 4- Mandalay (Nice pool area and room!) 5- Luxor (Love the architecture!

What happens in all permanent ride installations is that power is required to keep the brakes _open_. The magnetic brake in this case is a permanent magnet that's _offset_ by electromagnets so that it normally isn't as strong. If power fails, that car wouldn't get all the way to the end of the track - the permanent magnet wouldn't let it get that close. Just like on a roller coaster if power were to fail the train would screech to a halt at the next block brake instead of merely slowing down.

Hoover Dam breaks! Las Vegas sinks! The whole scene was ok. Sadly, the only thing is that during the earthquake, the only destruction scene was of the hotel "Atlas" which is a fictional hotel. There were so much more to destroy...New York, New York, Treasure Island, MGM, and sadly they didn't destroy the Stratmosphere Tower... But overall, the destruction of the inside of "Altas" was not bad.

The utility companies out here charge outrageous fees per month in the summer time. They make sure they get a rate increase to go through in the winter, so they get more money every summer. You don't hear of anyone hitting a jackpot anymore and the unemployment rate is over 15%. Now the street gangs are making it into the nice neighborhoods. Vegas Sucks

A friend of mine went to Vegas years ago and he said they are super strict in those casinos. He was staying in a hotel above a casino. But he was under 21 so he was allowed to walk thru the casino to get to his room but he wasnt allowed to stop on the way. He once did stop to look at a slot machine and as soon as he did a security guy was on him. "What are you doing here ??? These guys are animals regardless of what they ride. 2 strokes are light and easy to start when hot. 4 stroke makes great torque down low and really put the power down. Non fuel injected 4 strokers can be a little difficult to start when they are hot and stall... plus the added weight at the end of a race can be felt over a 2 stroker.
